Mixed xylene refers to the equilibrium mixture of aromatic hydrocarbons with the formula C₈H₁₀, consisting mainly of ortho‑xylene, meta‑xylene, para‑xylene, and ethylbenzene. It is one of the most important aromatic solvent products used across coatings, petrochemicals, and fuel blending industries.     Chemical Identity     Production Mixed xylene is produced primarily through petroleum refining, especially via catalytic reforming and steam cracking processes. It is separated from reformate streams by distillation and extraction. A significant portion of mixed xylene produced in refineries is also used directly in gasoline blending as an octane enhancer.   Key Applications   Why Industries Use It     Availability Mixed xylene is supplied and distributed by Tradella Company, ensuring consistent quality and reliable delivery for industrial customers.
